I've had the pleasure of working with Kenny over the past couple of years on a returning UK TV series called Born Without Trace. The films follow people who were abandoned as babies (known as foundlings) and who are now searching for their birth parents. These are true stories that are emotionally complex and which range from depths of despair to the euphoria of finding birth family.

Kenny beautifully illustrates theses nuanced stories, his music is layered and has incredible depth. He has this unique sound that sets him apart from the many other talented composers out there. What I love is his ability to bring a filmic score to TV without falling into the 'Zimmeresque' cliche trap.

Finally and perhaps just as important is that he's great to work with. Music is his passion, he rolls his sleeves up and his tracks are fresh..

I have worked with Kenny on one-off documentaries for the BBC and have found him to be a great collaborator, very original and intuitive. He is skilled at interpreting the mood of a film and contributing changes of pace and atmosphere across different cues. He is quick to suggest ideas and to work with changes, within a tight and defined timescale. His soundtracks contribute greatly to the end result, and I hope we will be working together again in the future.

Outstanding. Kenny is a total joy to work with. He listens, he's inventive and he's very able. On this project Kenny came up with some themes having watched a few mini collections of archive that we were to use in the series and these developed into terrifically original cues that became so integral that they flavoured the final sequences, defining the identity of each.
