My warm, approachable personality helps contributors feel at ease, even in sensitive environments or under challenging circumstances. I enjoy getting to know people with their narrative arcs in mind, and I’m driven by shaping real stories into engaging and emotionally compelling content.
Across projects like Soldier and Angel Lynn, I’ve worked closely with contributors and institutions to navigate complex access, bringing people onside and helping create trust in situations that require sensitivity and care. On Soldier, I supported access with the British Army to portray the highs and lows of recruits making the transformation from civilian to soldier. I’ve also worked confidently with on-screen talent, including during my time on Channel 4’s Banged Up, assisting both on the floor and shooting backstories in contributors’ homes.
Alongside my contributor and editorial strengths, I bring robust technical knowledge. I’ve worked across camera teams as an assistant and occasional shooter, and I’m experienced with DIT and sound. I have spent extensive time in the edit — including on Netflix’s Love Is Blind — where my story instincts strengthened further. I became a key member of the edit team, sourcing essential sync and sinew, cutting down long scenes into concise, story-focused edits, and pulling music options to help shape tone and narrative direction. I use AVID confidently on a daily basis to refine, organise and pull rushes.
I’m adaptable, reliable and always happy to step into whatever role production needs, whether editorial, technical or contributor-facing. I also have strong experience working away on location, writing story notes, and helping to pursue new and engaging stories.
