With a television career spanning 20 years, I have extensive experience producing and directing factual documentaries and character driven films. My work has taken me across the globe, from remote field expeditions to studio-based productions and a career highlight includes witnessing the discoveries of perfectly preserved ancient Roman and Greek shipwrecks over 2000 years old in the largest ever maritime archaeological expedition ever undertaken. 

I have experience of directing single films as well as episodes of established popular series formats such as Drain the Oceans (National Geographic) and Mysteries of the Abandoned (Discovery Science), and served as Producer on Charles I: Downfall of a King (BBC Four). With a passion for storytelling, I have also worked on productions for major international broadcasters including ZDF, France 5, ARTE, Smithsonian Channel, and HBO Max

As Series Producer / Director, my most recent completed documentary, A Ship Through Time - a co-production between S4C Sky History and Sphere Abacus - has already been acquired by BBC America and is expected to reach wider European audiences through further sales. 

I’m currently in the edit of a retrospective documentary I’m directing about the 1996 Sea Empress oil spill disaster (another co-production with distributor backing) and will be available again from mid-November. Read Less
