My interests include walking, music, canoeing, history, cycling and the Arctic. I have travelled world wide filming in the remotest locations for series such as Tribe, Under the sun and Around the world in 80 Faiths. I have worked with highly regarded talent including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Neil Oliver, Tony Robinson, Mariella Frostrup, Simon Sebag Montfiore, Nina Ramirez and many more... but also enjoy getting contributors to reveal their stories..

I have a good sense of humour which is essential in a fast paced industry, and an ability to adapt to the needs of new projects as they arise. My productions are calm, free from panic, usually under budget, and I always deliver. I have been lucky enough to win a number of awards including a BAFTA for cinematography (Visions of Snowdonia BBC2) , an International EMMY ("THE PHIL" C4) and an RTS for Extreme Pilgrim. also for BBC2. From 2015 to - 2021I have been shooting and scripting non broadcast international documentary shorts for Japanese Arts Association/Fuji TV Arts Alumni Awards Primaeum Imperiale .
