A journalistically trained factual and documentary producer (tv and podcast) with a background in award-winning current affairs, I have over 15 years experience working on shows for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, ITN, Discovery, National Geographic and CGTN. I have experience across a range of genres including; health, science, crime and history. My experience in consistently demanding current affairs shows has given me an enthusiasm and determination to succeed and the skills for in-depth development as well as fast-turnaround or otherwise challenging productions. It also gave me the skills for investigative and undercover filming. I have a strong editorial judgement and can quickly grasp a narrative. My natural instinct for storytelling means I excel at bringing to life compelling narratives. I am a confident at leading an editiorial team from beginning of production until the end and am always positive in how I support all members of a team, particularly those new to television. Extensive experience in news and shows with sensitive subjects means my compliance knowledge is excellent and always at the forefront of my work.
