ABOUT ME

I am a visual storyteller with 15 years of experience in the media industry, bringing a diverse skill set across TV and digital content production, documentary filmmaking, and photojournalism.

As a confident self-shooter with great people skills, I have spent recent years working in TV as a shooting Assistant Producer - where I continue to expand my broadcast expertise - while also developing my own documentary projects.

Prior to filmmaking, I worked for a decade as a photojournalist sourcing innovative content, covering breaking news as well as in-depth stories. This foundation sharpened my technical expertise and storytelling instincts, skills that I now apply to both documentary and broadcast formats.


SKILLS

Technical
➢ Very confident self-shooting on location with industry-standard cameras (FS7, C300, Canon 5D, Sony A7S, GoPro) and sound recording equipment (lav mics, Zoom recorders, sound mixers).
➢ Substantial experience of self-editing with both Avid and Premiere under tight deadlines.

Researching & Storytelling 
➢ Track record of finding contributors and developing relationships with new talent.
➢ Constantly generating new story ideas, creating innovative approaches to storytelling and content delivery and adapting stories to suit fast consumption on social media.

Production & Logistics
➢ Highly organised, ensuring seamless shoot logistics under tight deadlines. Proficient in securing locations, coordinating travel, managing schedules, and handling essential documentation (consent forms, risk assessments, background checks).

Languages & Availability
➢ Proficient in English and Spanish, native Italian speaker, with basic German skills.
➢ EU passport, UK settled status, and a full clean UK driving licence.
➢ Based in Glasgow and happy to travel for work in the UK, EU, and abroad.
