I am a Freelance Lighting Cameraman, DOP and Camera Operator based in Scotland near Edinburgh and Glasgow, with over 20 years of experience across documentary, factual, drama, children’s, news, sport, multi-camera OBs and corporate productions. BBC trained and with regular clients including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, The Discovery Channel, Sky and IMG Sports Media, I work throughout the UK and worldwide to consistently deliver creative, editable material in a range of styles to suit diverse production requirements. I am regularly working with, and able to supply, many professional 4K and HD camera formats (eg. FX9, FX6, FS7, F5, Amira, C300, XDCam) along with high-end lenses and a range of lighting, sound and grip equipment. I am experienced in live and recorded multi-camera OBs filming music performances, sporting events, studio debates, business conferences, etc. and happy to operate handheld or from fixed positions with long lenses. I am also experienced in golf coverage including ball following. I also have excellent contacts with other freelance camera crew professionals in Scotland so, for example, if you also need a sound recordist, drone pilot or Steadicam op, I can help you find the right person.
