Read MoreI’m a freelance VT/EVS Operator BBC trained engineer for both live and recorded material in Studio and Outside Broadcast environments. I enjoy working on my own initiative, and within a team environment, I have good communication and analytical skills, a logical and flexible approach, and a positive, cheerful and calm manner. I’ve had 35 years of experience, and my VT/EVS work has taken me all over the world, including the Paralympics in Rio 2016, the Invictus Games in London ‘14, Florida ‘16 and Vancouver ’17, MTV EMA’s, the America’s Cup Sailing, US Open Tennis, 5 Seasons of Formula 1 and The Jump. I also have worked on various large-scale productions, including Eurovision '23, The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Glastonbury 2010-17, and Big Brother, as well as chat shows and quiz shows. Recent work includes The Russell Howard Hour, and previously Russell Howard’s Good News, The Last Leg including The Last Leg Live in Rio and Tokyo, Saturday Kitchen, Live National Lottery Advert, ITV Horse Racing, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, The Brits ITV2, iTunes Festival, V Festival, Fusion Festival, Bafta Red Carpet for Film TV and Games, The Olivier Awards, Stand Up 2 Cancer, Ranganation, Leicester Square Film Premiers, Catchphrase, House of Cards, Strictly It Takes Two, and live Cinema relays from the Royal Opera House and National Theatre. I’m equally at home in a gallery or an OB truck and have worked for all major UK broadcasters and Indies as well as overseas.
