Alison is a Directors UK, Cinesisters and BAFTA Connect Member. Alison’s films span drama, theatre and documentaries, sometimes involving children or other vulnerable contributors. She is a visiting Director at the Bristol School of Acting, and directed the short form drama LOVE BOMB, written by Sinitta Monero. In 2021 Alison directed for Channel 4's True Stories series and also directed five evocative factual shorts written by Richard Curtis for the international media event Global Citizen Live, broadcast at prime time on BBC One and featuring Olivia Colman and Bill Nighy. Alison was also commissioned to direct for the inaugural Uncertain Kingdom anthology now on Apple TV, Prime Video and other streamers. Other recent projects have included the Universal City shorts: a commission of CARGO Movement in partnership with Hello Charlie. Alison’s short film, Make The Most of Me, received award nominations from BAFTA-accredited festivals. Alison has mentored film students through the UWE film school. Read Less
