I have six years’ experience working with Hair and Makeup and I am determined to begin my career as a Makeup Assistant. I have a UK driver licence along with my own car. My work as a freelance Makeup Artist has led me to many exciting projects, from short films and trade shows to photography shoots and individual clients. However, my keen interest has always been film and television. Therefore, I am currently using my skills and experience by working on short films with a view to continue my career into Film and Television. For example, last year I worked as the sole Hair and Makeup Artist for a short film shot in London. In preparation for this job I broke down the script in order to design and create face charts which I used as a guide for continuity. Since the film was shot over two days, I ensured that both the hair and makeup for all actors were the same each day. My experience has provided me with invaluable skills which I will transfer to my role as a Hair and Makeup Trainee.I am currently enrolled with Sara Putt's Trainee Scheme. I am working closely with their incredible team to improve my portfolio and I am gaining valuable advice and guidance for working in the Film and Television industries.
