Read MoreI’ve gained a lot of experience within hectic and fast-paced production settings. These have provided a good awareness of what is required of me, the demands needed by a successful production team and the satisfaction of being part of it all. Combining that with the skills awarded in my Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Media Production points that both my head and heart want to continue a path leading to a career within the media. Working directly with media teams, actors, artists and professionals within the industry, both as a runner and a studio assistant, has given me confidence. From working as a key part of the production team in a festival in Amsterdam, as a camera operator, producing key film content for the festival to use immediately. To the demands of being a runner and studio assistant, as simple as it sounds, but understanding the needs of a team and all those involved, enables me to draw on that experience with an understanding of the immediacy of the environment that media teams work under and the pressures involved. It also makes me want to become more involved in this industry, to work with like-minded creative professionals, regardless of the entry-level. It is important to use my skills and abilities at the entry-level and allow my career to grow organically as well as proactively within the industry I love.
