I worked for years in public engagement in various museums across London. I returned to higher education in 2017 to study my passion, the natural world. I gained an MSc in Taxonomy and Biodiversity (not taxidermy, despite what my mother keeps saying), specialising in animal evolution. As well as having experience working as a freelance junior researcher for the BBC, I also produce a weekly podcast on the natural world called 'The Natural Selection' which I research, present and edit. I have represented my employers on national BBC radio twice, once talking about chicken genetics, and once talking about epigenetics. I have written scripts and presented videos online for Wellcome. The success of which lead me to being asked to write a script for a collaboration between Wellcome and the BBC, which became an online video on the Tomorrow's World website called 'The rise and rise of the condom'.
