I am a Hair and Make-up artist, currently at the end of my degree, which I am studying a BA (Hons) TV & Film: Hair, Make-up and Special Effects. Through this course, work opportunities and placements, I have been able to gain and develop skills that are imperative within this industry. The course has given me the opportunity to network and work on productions such as S4C, Pobol y Cwm and CBBC, Jamie Johnson, gaining full understanding of continuity and professionalism. I have experience on live television, working on Prynhawn Da for S4C at Tinopolis which I had the privilege to do the make-up and hair for guests and presenters. I worked on a BBC short film with the 'It's My Shout’ scheme, where I was nominated for Best Hair and Make-up Trainee at their Awards night in 2018. I am also a qualified Level 3 Hairdresser after completion of a three-year apprenticeship back in 2016. I am experienced in cutting (both men and women’s hair), colouring and styling, and my commitment to my work was shown from being awarded ‘Trainee hairdresser of the year, 2014’. These opportunities have given me the confidence to use my initiative, and make vast, important decisions, whilst exploring and developing my own skills. Read Less
