Hello, my name is Leila Coelho. I have a Bachelors in Sciences of Communication from the University of Algarve and a Master's Degree in Film and TV Production from the University of Hertfordshire. I may be in an entry-level position, but the experience I have acquired from past work will definitely help me throughout many situations, from knowing how to approach certain people, delegate, defusing any conflicts as well as working long hours in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. While doing an internship at a Communications Agency I learned a lot about research and the entire pre-production process, helped by assisting in brainstorming meetings with copywriters, scouting places to shoot, making call sheets as well as translating videos. . I am multilingual. I can read, speak and write in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. Learning new languages taught me to listen more attentively and give more attention to detail as well as multi-tasking. Both the work experience I've had, and all that I have learned from my BA and MA is an advantage as I have become quite multi-faceted in working in different areas.
