I am a committed Development AP, with 12+ years' experience in content production.

I have an in-depth understanding of the unscripted production process, having worked as AP across a wide-range of genres, and having seen projects through from development and pre-production, to post and assisting edits. Areas worked include fact-ent, obs-doc, features, specialist factual, popular factual, documentary (incl. podcast). Subjects include biography, science, history, engineering, consumer, current-affairs, comedy, music, and entertainment.

Within production, I am used to supporting crew, coordinating teams on location through complex shoots in the UK and abroad, and have written scripts for broadcast. Having worked as an Archive AP, I also have a practiced understanding of archive libraries and clearance processes. Through all my work, I focus on platforming access-lead stories and amplifying outsider narratives. 

I have strong story-finding skills, and an instinct for casting unique contributors. I am a published writer, and enjoy devising purposeful and engaging content, and marrying my copy-writing experience with thorough research. I am driven by storytelling, creating punchy formats, attention grabbing decks, and exciting proposals.

I have experience working with high-profile talent, maintaining strong relationships over long projects, and have a proven track-record securing connections with prominent global institutions (e.g. Tavistock and Portman, Mazzoni Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital, Heathrow Airport, FedEx, Virgin, the MOD, The Science Museum, The RAF, RSPCA).
