I wanted to capture these special moments in my life and make them last forever.I was lucky to find a job in the film industry, slowly climbing up the career ladder and working on a variety of exciting projects spanning many genres from drama to documentaries, music videos and promotional films. Take a look at my work to learn what I can do and get in touch if you’d like to discuss a project.During the initial stages of my career, I received direct training in production and postproduction from the BBC and ITV, working on a number of broadcast campaigns. Since this training, I have worked as a freelancer in the media industry, undertaking roles in broadcast, commercial and art media. I have been based in Manchester, with periods of contractual work in London and abroad, such as the Assistant Editor role with X-Factor and a re-production and Filming and consultant role on a documentary feature film, Rising Silence.
I have over 7 years of working with young people, adults and various communities be it refugee communities, running and creating workshops, training and devising projects for various organisations Such as: the BFI, NCS the challenge, Community Arts Northwest (CAN), High Peak Community Arts (HPCA), The Lowry Theatre, Music International, NCS, Withington Girls School, Buxton Youth Theatre, Lets Go global, Buxton community school and St Brigids.
I have a strong track record of working with young people and I wholly believe in their development and potential through the provision of creative and inspiring processes and opportunities. I have devised programmes of work for young people and developed high-quality learning materials to enable their highest potential are reached.
