Creative and resourceful Producer/DV Director with a background in documentary, arts and factual entertainment. Aspring Edit Producer.

I have experience managing large casting teams and have a strong instinct for the people and stories that make good TV, setting-up shoots and scriptwriting. Confident on location, I have experience story producing contributors and high-profile presenters, ensuring the content meets the requirements of the show, the shoot runs to schedule and everyone is happy.

I'm a strong shooter on cameras such as FX9 and FX6, confident self-shooting or working in a team, and have my own FS7 kit. I've filmed/directed VTs and segments for shows such as Kirstie's Handmade Christmas (Channel 4), Edinburgh Nights (BBC Two) and worked as Camera Operator on feature-length documentary Tumthe (RTÉ).

I've recently completed a 7-month Edit Producing for Future Series Producers training scheme run by Screekskills which included masterclasses, Avid training and a 4-week Edit Producer shadow placement on ITV/Lifted Entertainment's dating format My Mum, Your Dad presented by Davina McCall where I cleared music and cut pulls on Avid for story.

Drawing on experience as a former pro ballet dancer I recently worked as Choreographer on BBC One's Panorama: The Dark Side of Ballet Schools and BAFTA-funded short film This Desert Will Rust Your Bones. I've also been known to do the splits at a wrap party!

I also work as a feelance filmmaker and have filmed/directed/edited promos and short-form documentaries for clients such as BBC Arts, Rambert Dance Company, National Youth Theatre, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, LGBT Youth Scotland and Scottish Refugee Council. My films have screened at venues across Europe/USA and featured in the Skinny and Clash magazine.
