My love for film started back in university when I was asked to make a short documentary as part of my degree. I made that film about my dad’s ex-life competing in bodybuilding, and I instantly fell in love with the storytelling process. From there I went on to make another documentary that won an RTS Cymru award and subsequently nominated for an RTS national.
 
I then joined the prestigious Channel 4 production trainee scheme, learning and absorbing as much as I could about the industry. Parallel to this I was also accepted onto a first director’s scheme, debuting my first short documentary for broadcast TV.
 
Fast forward and I’m a confident and attentive shooting director & producer with experience across a whole range of genres, taking the best bits from all of them. My work has since gained recognition from organisations such as RTS, and BAFTA. I also thoroughly enjoy taking part in seminars and workshops, passing on the knowledge I’ve acquired so far from documentary making, to working within TV as a deaf person. Read Less
