Be it Production Management or Talent I consider myself to be forward-thinking and progressive in my approach and am committed to every task I undertake.Within the role my responsibilities include but are not limited to the below as much of what we do is not quantifiable and calls upon our softer skills ;• Work closely with the business to understand and share knowledge about the external talent market, ensuring the long term needs of the business are known and shared.
• Work with the leadership team to support the strategic planning of talent, aligning it with the business plan for each genre.
• Create and maintain relationships with inclusive organisations and individuals who promote diversity within the television industry. This includes mentoring, networking, representing the company at industry events.
• Sourcing and engaging talent and continue talent mapping.
• Collaborate with others within the team on initiatives and/or projects as required - placements and work experience initiatives etc
• To own the day-to-day relationships with with HOP team and Talent (be it internal or external).
• Managing the end to end hire from early engagement through to offer stage/pass on to the Hiring Manager if applicable and working closely with HR to support the approvals process.
• Drawing from my existing network/prior experience of tracking off-screen talent across various genres and across short / longform.
• Have an ability to engage and excite prospective candidates about the roles we are recruiting for and also an ability to excite hiring managers about candidates.
• I have a passion and enthusiasm for diversity & inclusion
• Creative skills in being able to identify talent requirements from production briefs or hiring Manager briefings
• I have experience negotiating rates and understanding budgetary requirements of productions and draw on my background in Production Management to that end.
• I have strong organisational skills and give 110% to every task i undertake.
• Experience of meeting deadlines and juggling several projects and tasks in a fast paced, constantly changing production environment.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with a good understanding of production requirements.

I'm an individual who works well as part of a team, posses’ great communication skills, is well organised and a confident negotiator and can inspire others.I don't shy away from rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck in and have developed a comprehensive understanding of the workings of each department, which allows me to function effectively and build relationships with key team members at all levels within a production environment.I'm great at problem solving, very inventive and resourceful and like to lead by example when it comes to running my projects, with a positive but also realistic and pragmatic outlook and approach.
Key skills and experience:
• Production Manager with over 15 years experience in broadcast media
• Genres include observational documentary, factual, drama and drama doc, arts, factual entertainment, live OB’s and studio
• Experience of delivering projects for Channel 4, BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV, Nat Geo, Discovery, A&E Network and S4C
• Experience working across BAFTA nominated TV and film projects
• Ability to manage creative aspirations of editorial team with financial and schedule constraints of production
• Experienced in budgeting & scheduling, setting up & contracting crew & fixers for UK and foreign shoots and overseeing all logistical arrangements.
• Experienced in dealing with sensitive subject matters, difficult access projects, talent and children and both equity and non-equity cast for film and TV.
• Familiar with complex risk assessments and health and safety procedures.
