Currently Operating as a Freelance Filmmaking Generalist across the commercial and Music industries. I have heavy self reliance and experience in all stages of production from Pre to post-production, from research to VFX & Animation. I've worked in productions in many different roles as well as - at times - all roles at once as a sort of one man band.First and foremost I began as an editor. My groundings were founded in Music events & festival films. These industries call for a great deal of creative & technical ability and forever a demand for something new and unseen. Through trying to capture the unique and euphoric feelings which music can deliver, I have picked up many tricks which help in the modern world of online content & catering to younger audiences. Pacing which picks up the viewer from the beginning and the ability to astonish has defined the editing techniques I employ in my current shorter form work such as Music Videos and Promotional Films. Among projects I have been able to exercise my artistic passions in animation, infographics, 3D design and visual effects.A heavy grounding and proficiency in post production has allowed me to exercise an inverse approach to film making all the way to pre-production. While working under production company Entirety Labs, after gaining trust as an inhouse editor & VFX Artist, I was given the chance to pick up a camera for professional work. Since then, my appreciation of camera work has exploded as well as the number of productions I've taken the role of DOP since beginning my freelance career.As a freelancer (who acts as a production company) I have experience in handling clients, conducting research, writing creative treatments and pitches. All these elements have carried me into the director's chair for a handful of my client's projects.With each Job I learn and stew on every element of production I encounter.
