Hi, I'm Samantha Preston (Sam). Last year, I worked as Location Assistant & Location Covid Coordinator for 11 weeks in Bristol on a TV drama, Manhunt, made by Buffalo Pictures, starring Martin Clunes. In January this year I was Location Assistant on two photographic shoots (for Talisker Whisky & British Vogue) and then spent 9 weeks as Assistant Location Manager on a feature film, Fisherman's Friends 2, in Cornwall. My background in film is in natural history which I'm keen to return to. I was Production Secretary and then Production Assistant for an independent film maker, Michael McKinnon, in London in the late 80's early 90's. I worked for him for five years on his documentary films that were in collaboration with the BBC Natural History Unit, The Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Prior to that, I worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in London where I completed their Graduate Training Programme and worked as Account Executive on the Proctor & Gamble international account.
