The film was globally released on 28th Feb 2020 & achieved #1 position in both the North American & worldwide theatrical box offices for that weekend. Another career highlight was winning two awards (Best Debut Feature, Best Direction) at the Venice Film Festival 2015 as Co-Producer of "The Childhood of a Leader" (with Chris Coen of Unanimous Entertainment/Upper St Films). The Childhood of a Leader was also nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in 2017.Having worked up in production roles from a prod sec position, I have been fortunate to work with clients such as Endemol, Network 10, Nickelodeon, BBC, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Lionsgate to name a few. The bulk of my experience is in feature films (both of indie & studio level budgets), live action tv drama series (prime time, children’s & factual), 3D CGI Animation, feature documentaries (for both theatrical & broadcast release) and docu-series. I have experienced in both physical production/post production & in developing programmes.I have extensive experience managing a team to deliver high quality results to strict deadlines and network channel / broadcaster / studio demands. I am proficient in budgeting and scheduling up to budgets of £20mil and have experience working with both independent production companies and major studios. I am proficient in setting up shoots both locally and overseas (both location & studio based shoots) from initial concept stages through to delivery.I am well versed in dealing with high end stakeholders including top end cast & clients and am used to working with incredibly tight turnarounds coupled with high expectationsHaving worked my way up through a production team, I am able to not only line produce, but PM a project from the nuts and bolts if required. I am very experienced in hiring & building teams, liaising with cast & crew agents, developing & negotiating cast/crew/supplier/facility contracts, negotiating rates, insurances, travel, and all associated legals in addition to managing all other expectations within the team.I am proficient in managing and coordinating multiple directors & units simultaneously.I am reliable, adaptable, flexible and highly organised. In addition I am able to work autonomously, have excellent problem solving skills and work well in a highly pressurised environment. I have excellent knowledge of the television & film production and post production process as well as having large experience with the press and media. My friendly, open nature assists me to develop fast & long lasting rapports with colleagues.In my life before television, I assisted to start up a natural fruit juice company in Sydney, Australia called Nudie (not unlike Innocent here in the UK) whilst studying my degree (a double in Neurosciene & Occupational Therapy), which allowed me to further my business development experience from a grass roots level.
