Hassaan worked for Optomen on the studio cookery series of Great British Menu for the entire run on a part-time basis after successful work experience. His duties included making tea and coffee, tidying up at the end of the shoot and running errands for the production by driving to the shops, sometimes to get specialist food items or props. He was also responsible on occasion for driving contributors to hotels or picking them up from the station. As the series progressed he was given the additional responsibility of helping the Food Producer make a graphic about the food for briefings and assisting with camera equipment. He would make sure simple equipment was lined up routinely in the right place for the next shots. He is hard working and cheerful with a good sense of humour and shows a willingness to learn more about TV, which he has huge enthusiasm for. He can at first appear shy but I would recommend him to your production as he was a very popular member of our team.
