New Showreel! - I am a camera/2nd camera person and self-shooter with an interest in developing as an assistant producer. I specialise in factual and natural history, with a personal passion for human-led environmental films.I’m experienced directing presenters and filming expert contributors, such as Forest Whitaker, Prince Harry, and former child soldiers in Uganda.I am skilled at capturing natural history sequences for broadcast, filming documentary-style on the frontline of conservation, and producing and project managing short films for NGOs (of which I filmed, produced and edited more than 30 between 2019 and 2022 alone).I am accomplished with a range of cameras, from FS7s and Blackmagic models to the latest mirrorless cameras, and I can provide a range of equipment from cameras and lenses to gimbals, cable dollies and camera traps.Key skills and values include: • Terrestrial & aerial filming • Directing & producing • Proficient with timelapse, gimbals, camera traps, sliders, cable rigs & other technologies • Story development • Script writing • Problem solving • Ethics • Editing • Sound recording • Interviews • Team player • ResearchBased in England, I have worked throughout the UK and Europe. I have delivered photography commissions for leading magazines such as BBC Wildlife and for NGOs such as WWF.My education is to first class Masters Degree level in Photojournalism and my career as a photographer and filmmaker followed a ten-year career delivering communications roles in the environment sector for charities such as the Wildlife Trusts, Woodland Trust and Galapagos Conservation Trust.
