Rachael is an extremely strong Assistant Producer who is a joy to work with. Rachael approaches every task with huge determination and efficiency. I worked with her on the BBC100 Share Your Story tour which was the flagship production for the BBC's centenary. Rachael was tasked with casting both storytellers (who share their personal stories with teenage audience) and career panellists (who share their career journey with teenage audience). In both scenarios Rachael had to emit a warm and approachable demeanour which allowed the contributor to open up and feel comfortable to share their stories. She not only did this but did it very quickly, constantly smashing targets set and being well ahead of other AP's while having the same amount of care and consideration for each contributor.
She also led a team on location for 7 weeks to deliver the production within a secondary school setting. She was the main point of contact for her team of researchers, host, AV team, contributors and schools; all of which she has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Rachael directed the host through in ears to keep the live production to time and on track. While on the road she also would be responsible for writing scripts and preparing video content for future weeks.
I would recommend Rachael for any AP role but specifically in casting, welfare and live production.
Rachael has quickly established herself as a very highly valued member of the Location Location Location team. Rachael has excelled across casting, development, and office / location AP roles - there's nothing she can't turn her hand to, and aways performs to the highest level. She's a 'first call' AP, a fantastic team member, and is always one step ahead. If you have a chance to hire her it would quite honestly be negligent of you not to.
Rachael has worked for me from the early years of her career. I've hired her as a runner, researcher and AP and at every level she has proven to be hard working, conscientious, driven and effective in each role. She's not afraid of a challenge or a heavy workload. She has an infectious personality which is great for casting in particular but she's also proven she can encourage and lead other team members, especially when the schedule is tight. She always turns up for work with a smile on her face which is never a bad thing.
