English by birth, Samuel Ellis grew up in Marbella, Spain – an area known as the Costa del Crime. Throughout his formative years he witnessed the extravagant luxury of Marbella, as well as the explosive violence of the holiday resort’s criminal underbelly. He completed his secondary education in Gibraltar, which afforded the ability to read Screenwriting at the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles Campus thanks to a sizable government grant. After graduating from N.Y.F.A. in May 2018 with a degree in Screenwriting, Samuel spent the following year working as a PA on sets and Interning in Hollywood.
