Read MoreFrom humble beginnings, I started University via a foundation degree with University of Bristol at 25. I completed this and moved on to Film and Television studies at the university. Here I found my life experience began to pay off, from managing busy bars, to working for a waste water company, I was finally putting to use the countless odd skills I had honed over the years. I have great communication skills, I can problem solve (as you often have to do with angry customers, who have a garden full of waste water) and following my studies and work experience I now have a firm understanding of the production process of film making. I pride myself on asking the right questions, and also knowing who is the right person to ask. I'm inquisitive and have a mind for working out complex problems moment to moment while staying calm (final year film studies in a pandemic has proven that).
In the last year I have greatly improved my editing skills, and after buying a camera of my own, have gained knowledge and understanding of more technical skills. I write scripts in my spare time and have many, many projects and ideas constantly being inched toward completion. Being part of a motivated team, contributing and learning, not being afraid to sound stupid or be wrong, this is what gets me excited about my future career in film/animation!
