A senior programme maker with many years of experience delivering high-profile shows and live broadcasts on location and in studio. As Head of Development for Big Circus Media, I managed a slate encompassing obs doc, reality tv, competition, factual, fact-ent and much, much more.... In the past few years I have overseen the development, commission and delivery of numerous programmes for a range of broadcasters - including BBC 1, Channel 4 and More 4/ I've helped to secure a nine-series deal with Channel 4 and also exec produced a high-end series of interviews with Sally Phillips for the BBC. Prior to this role I was the Series Editor on Sunday Morning Live, BBC One's long-running weekly magazine programme - overseeing a wealth of live and filmed factual content around faith, ethics, current affairs and entertainment. As Deputy Editor and Senior Editor on The One Show I led a large team working daily across a huge variety of content, from debate and current affairs to consumer, specialist factual to entertainment. As Series Editor on the Steph Show I was responsible for launching and showrunning the UK’s first new live show in lockdown, broadcast remotely from the presenter, Steph McGovern’s, house during the Covid 19 pandemic.
