I am a hardworking, enthusiastic, personable and journalistically-minded AP who is keen to improve my self-shooting skills and to work on shoots/location, as well as in the edit. I hold both British and German (EU) passports and an I-VISA.

I was chosen for the BBC Female Self Shooter course at the NFTS in May 2024, selected from a pool of over 120 applicants for one of ten places. I spent a week consolidating my shooting knowledge and skills and filmed a short film which is available on my TM profile (Old Town Koko's).
 
I have experience:
- shooting second cam on obs-doc, master interview and GVs on FS7, FX6, FX9, A7S
- writing master interview questions
- interviewing contribs (also in German)
- edit experience assisting directors with sync pulls, script writing, fact-checking, archive pulling
- setting up and assisting PDs on shoots all around the UK and abroad (US, Germany)
- remote location/shoot experience (Outer Hebrides, Scotland)
- translating German and Russian archive / rushes into English
- historical research in German and Russian
- proficient in Avid, Premiere Pro and FinalCutPro
- original investigation and research (including social media, newspaper archives, British Library, National Archives)
- working on sensitive access shoots and home visits
- setting up and assisting on drama recon shoots
- working with extremely vulnerable contributors
- navigating research for foreign filming
- casting, including street casting, research, actors and experts and contribs
- working with A list talent
- data wrangling and logging
- compliance, consent forms, location scouting 
- establishing detailed timelines
- boom operating and mics
- lots of experience & confident driving (manual/automatic) in UK and abroad

1.5 years experience in development, creating treatments and pitches, access emails and finding new stories.
