I am a qualified journalist with years of experience in high pressured studios, newsrooms and live locations. I have proven experience in researching, shooting, editing and producing upcoming and developing stories to strict deadlines. Over the past year in particular I have had consistent feedback for coming up with unique ideas that have helped take shows to a higher level.In my current role as Assistant Producer I am regularly planning and generating new ideas to show stories in a variety of different ways. I ensure the topic is covered effectively to a range of different audiences. I also have experience in producing and managing news stories and staff on location. This has included camera journalists and on-screen personnel. From the variety of experience I have gained over the years I am confident and competent in my abilities to complete or oversee all stages of the production process ensuring the final product is delivered to the highest standard.Recent teams I have worked with have complimented my “proactiveness” and “communication throughout the show”.
