I’m a tenacious, story focused director with strong editorial judgement.

I have recently directed 2 part Sky series 'Kursk: 10 days that Shaped Putin', and Grierson award winning Apple doc 'Twas The Fight Before Christmas'. I am the producer of the multi-award winning, BAFTA, EMMY and PGA nominated feature documentary 'Three Identical Strangers'. 

My background is in current affairs and I've worked across CNN Films, Netflix, Apple TV+, BBC, National Geographic & Discovery on a variety of factual programming including feature documentary, single documentaries, fast turnaround current affairs programmes, and presenter led factual programming.

I am most interested in working on documentaries that highlight social issues and human interest stories. I've worked with vulnerable people on very sensitive stories but I also thrive on projects that require meticulous research, fact checking and unearthing information/people. My work on Three Identical Strangers resulted in people speaking on camera for the first time about a secret psychological experiment and gaining access to the never seen before, sealed records of the secret study, held since 1960s by a powerful government funded organisation in New York.

Along with solid journalistic skills, I enjoy negotiating the access to various individuals/groups/authorities to tell stories. I have secured contributions and access to senior members of government and law enforcement agencies in both the UK and USA as well as individuals with sensitive human interest stories to tell, from families who have lost loved ones to gun crime to prisoners of war.
