I have been involved with the events industry for four years, and balance being a student with freelance event work.Over the course of my events career, I have gained experience from being onsite for events such as the NFL Fantasy Draft (two years), Robin Hood Big Benefit (three years), Dreamforce and Super Bowl LIV. For most of these I was hired as a Production Assistant, though at Dreamforce I was a client facing on-site manager for four stations set up at the Intercontinental hotel. For these events my responsibilities included smaller tasks such as acting as a runner (including driving large vehicles such as an 8 person van), to larger, more managerial tasks such as leading a Union crew in assisting with install based on floor plans.While I excel in the live events industry, I am also looking to break into film and television production, and learn the ropes with an entry level position there.
