I am a Scottish-Syrian producer and an alumnus of the National Film and Television School. I have worked across a range of premium documentary series for Netflix, Sky, A+E and ITV, with companies including Mindhouse, Raw, Lightbox, and Sandpaper Films. Beyond my work in TV, I was awarded funding by Screen Scotland to create a short documentary, which won the Berlinale Crystal Bear for Best Short Film in 2022 and was released on Guardian Documentaries in 2023. My NFTS graduation film premiered at Sheffield DocFest and was shortlisted for a BAFTA Student Award.

I have extensive experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with contributors. I have worked on location, handling sensitive access stories, and have been responsible for casting, contributor outreach, sourcing archive, writing scripts and interview questions, scheduling, and setting up shoots. As a confident self-shooter, I have experience operating cameras, mic’ing contributors, and assisting with kit preparation on location. 

I have worked on multiple productions with complex compliance and consent procedures, particularly in true crime. I have carried out fact-checking and editorial compliance across most of the productions I’ve worked on. Additionally, I have experience working in the edit on three different productions, assisting with sync pulls, paper edits, and supporting the archive producer.
