I am currently living in Manchester, and work as a nurse, specialising in children's cancer. I have made the big decision to come out of this career as I am extremely passionate about exploring a career within television production and would like to actively pursue this. I believe that my experiences within nursing have been valuable, providing me with life experience and many transferrable skills that would make me a suitable selection to join a team as a runner and hopefully progress to researcher. I am able to work under pressure, and prioritise tasks, and I ensure to make sure these are done competently and fully, to the deadline. I love working collaboratively within a team and am enthusiastic and friendly towards my colleagues, whilst always maintaining a professional manner. I have excellent communication skills and am able to adapt this to who I am speaking to- I regularly speak with consultants, doctors and fellow colleagues, along side, patients, their families and the general public. I am able to adopt this verbally or through written correspondence. I am self motivated and determined whilst being very easy to get along with. I have an excellent work ethic and am willing to work to my full potential and make the most of any opportunity that comes my way. Read Less
