After eight years as Head of Marketing and Social Media at Great British Chefs, Mex Ibrahim co-founded Women in the Food Industry, a CIC providing resources and community support for UK women across as they face issues of inclusion and diversity across all sectors of the food industry. Mex is a freelance consultant in social media, marketing and digital content creation. She was recently appointed Trustee of School Food Matters. She also sits on the Advisory Board of New Food Magazine, is a member of the Guild of Food Writers, an Associate of the RSPH (Royal Society of Public Health) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She volunteers as a committee member of her local monthly street market, Kew Village Market, and handles their marketing, publicity, social media and website. Read Less
