Jonathan Howells is a designer and motion graphics animator, and Creative Director of Dinnick & Howells. He has been a crafting motion and broadcast graphics for over 15 years, and has worked with many of the top production companies including Windfall Films, Ventureland, Hungry Jay, Stigma Films, Anton, Passion Pictures,  Spungold, Ricochet, Meridian Line Films and others. Jonathan has created graphics for programs on BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, Disney+, National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, NOVA. ITV and many others.

As a graphics director for larger projects, he often leads animation teams with specialisms, but his own personal versatility extends from 2D to 3D animation, flat graphics to photo realistic, and everything in-between. Howells also has experience crafting visual effects such as simulating smoke, fire, water and particle effects. He prides himself on creativity and perfectionism but also on being a team player who respects process and deadlines.
