I am an experienced Shooting AP working between TV and feature documentaries. I’ve worked in both the UK and Switzerland and hold an MA in Directing Documentary from the National Film and Television School.

For TV I have worked as an AP on two Dispatches films for Channel 4 involving vulnerable contributors and on an access-led series about the UK’s football policing unit.

My theatrical and streaming credits include being an AP on a sports film for NETFLIX, and archive producing for a Swiss feature film which screened at Locarno Film Festival.

I have strong organisational skills, a good editorial sense and am a sensitive interviewer. My strengths are casting interesting characters and building trusting relationships with people.

My mother tongues are English and German, and I can speak French and Italian conversationally. I edit using Adobe’s Premier Pro and have a rudimentary understanding of AVID. I can shoot using the Canon C200 and C300 ii and Sony’s FS7, FX6 and A7S ii. I have shot both in the UK and abroad (Europe and South Africa).  

I enjoy watching documentaries in various forms (short, long, series) and have been a pre-screener for the International Documentary Association’s Awards and the Zurich Film Festival. I am a trained peer-facilitator and run a peer-support group for early-career documentary makers.

Prior to entering the screen industry, I was able to gain experience across a variety of sectors. Following university, I was an elected officer representing University of Bristol students. I then continued working with young people at the youth charity Envision before turning to the private sector and helping set up an accelerator programme for tech startups in Zurich. After having gained my first industry experience working for the Zurich Film Festival I applied to the National Film and Television School where I did an MA in Directing Documentary.
