I am an Arabic-speaking researcher, translator and mediator with over 10 years experience working in the MENA region across documentary, print media and press freedom campaigning. I speak Palestinian and Syrian dialects and have maintained a high level of fluency in Media Standard Arabic for research purposes. 

I want to work on documentaries telling unique stories from Arabic-speaking countries that can help to reshape our understandings of the region. I believe in stories that combine rigorous research with the lived experiences of contributors. I have a proven track record working with confidential sources, vulnerable contributors and people on the move.
