I am a detailed orientated person who excels in coordinating and organising project logistics. I feel comfortable taking the initiative to encourage and progress a team, in which I work well as a facilitating role or leader. I will work hard to solve problems, something I am able to do under pressure whilst sticking to the principles of the company. I am a down to earth and understanding person with an open mind and a positive attitude. I am a graduate from University of Salford, in MA Wildlife Documentary Production. I am seeking work in the media industry currently as a Production Coordinator, Researcher, or Camera Operator, with the ambition to work as a producer/director in the future. I have 12 years experience in photographic and visual arts, focused primarily on wildlife photography and documentary film-making. I continue to develop with learning new techniques and technologies as well as learning to create quality content with limited resources. I am able to assist in the creation, planning and monitoring of photography and video shoots to a high quality. My experience in film planning, and project managing has given me hard organisational skills to achieve this whilst teaching me necessary soft skills such as creating interpersonal communications with relevant parties and maintaining those to an end result. This includes assisting producers, and adhering to timings. I have experience as a co-ordinator and a PA in a business office, giving me an understanding of the importance of workflow and keeping in contact with other teams, I have worked in the past to put out content which was passed between several teams. My experience in preproduction has developed my writing abilities which translate to writing briefs and discussing these with teams to work out the best execution of it. I maintain close communications with those working on a project to keep everybody in the loop for where we are up to, or how problems are being solved to keep the process moving. I have worked with numbers before, budgeting my own film, purchasing for others, and also working with data from a public business, and I have a quick turnaround on understanding new software used to put data together to send to HR or necessary persons. My filmmaking experience is largely wildlife based, and I have a great biological mindset, I have good knowledge of British flora and fauna, and have researched popular animals such as muntjac, seals, gannets, and puffins for the purposes of best understanding them to produce a film in an ethical way. I am able to use these skills to research wildlife of all kinds and use this biological, behavioural, and ecological information for tracking and filming. Read Less
