I am an IFMGA Mountain Guide, and Mountaineering Instructor (WMCI formerly known as the MIC) splitting my time between Kingussie, Inverness-shire and Chamonix, France. An experienced mountain safety consultant, my work comprises of a whole spectrum of tasks including planning and delivering mountaineering and off piste skiing experiences, through to safety consultancy for video productions.As an IFMGA Mountain Guide I am a member of the Association of British Mountain Guides (BMG), and hold the Carte Professionelle d'Educateur Sportif - Alpinisme, allowing me to practice my profession in France.My experience is broad with with past mountain rescue experience spanning sixteen years, with rock climbing, mountaineering and off piste skiing across Europe. Personal highlights have included climbing classic North Faces, including the North Face of the Eiger, climbing alpine style in the Himalaya and making first ascents of mountains in Greenland.
