After graduating I gained a place on the Bristol Old Vic’s prestigious theatre intern scheme 'Made In Bristol'. I worked with a variety of in-house teams in the theatre and was part of 'Play The Goat' company that devised and performed a production for the Old Vic’s summer season called “Off Peak”.
Before quarantine measures I held two part-time positions, as a box office assistant with 1532 Performing Arts Centre and as a deputy manager for a children’s out of school activity club. Both roles place a high premium on being punctual, reliable and taking responsibility for looking after keys and money, and both roles include duties serving food and drinks and cleaning. I am keen to apply the skills I have acquired in an environment that better fosters my career ambitions. In my spare time I have created a ten minute solo project called ‘Bandersnatch’. It is an ongoing project and has been performed at both the Amata Theatre in Falmouth (2018) and the Tobacco Factory Spielman Theatre for SPARK Festival (2019). Combining spoken word and stand up comedy it broaches the taboo topic of the female orgasm and aims to de-stigmatise it.
