Hello,I am a recent graduate in English Literature with First-Class Honours from the University of Exeter looking to move towards a career in the field of Production Coordination. Alongside my academic qualifications, including a First-Class Dissertation written on the representation of Women in the Western Genre on film, I have a wide range of working experience in high pressure working environments organising office administration and large-scale live events. Working at the Lord Mayor’s Appeal in London I was responsible for the management of existing patron relationships and guaranteeing their enrolment into the City Giving Day 2018 event. My work in facilitating the implementation of a new ground level recruitment strategy directly resulted in a record recruitment drive with over 300 companies registering and fundraising for the first time, including several on the FTSE100. My experience as Treasurer of Exeter Engineers RFC also places me in good stead for the administrative facets of being a Department Runner. In this position I oversaw the general logistics and general running and recruitment of the club, planned and managed several large-scale events of over 100 attendees and managed a budget in excess of £10,000 and attracted over £3500 in sponsorship to a club with no notable assets alongside maintaining a flawless Academic record. Although I do currently lack paid experience working in TV production, I believe that my transferable experience from other sectors including active participation in Exeter’s Film and ExMedia societies on small scale productions and my enthusiasm for- and speed of- learning still make me an ideal candidate.
