I would like to be considered for entry level positions, as I am pursuing a career change. I have just finished being a delegate on The Network 2019 where I gained practical skills for working in the television industry. Whilst on the Network, I was part of the documentary group and created a documentary within 24 hours, which was then shown at the live show. I have a masters degree, which involved considerable research and I have created biogs for theatre productions. My previous employment in the fields of mental health, domestic abuse, social services, customer services and the police means that I am used to fast-paced and high pressure working environments, I have stories to tell and I am solution focused. I am accustomed to calmly managing challenging situations and communicating with people from all walks of life, including those with complex needs. In the public sector, I had to be thorough and highly organised in managing my workload, but also organising the lives of many clients. I regularly wrote reports, created resources and kept the shared drive up to date and in order. The work also involved communication across organisations and other professionals, as well as frequent telephone communication. My work at Buckingham Palace similarly involved exemplary customer service and frequent telephone communication. I also have 5 years experience writing for stage, online and children. My play Strictly Come Barking sold out and I won the Best Production and Best Writer award for my play Happily Ever After... Parole.
