An award winning director, Shanalyna aims to inspire and entertain with every project she produces and directs. As a theatre student at Swarthmore College in the 90's, she was drawn to plays because they were social calls to make the world a better place. It didn't matter if the plays were comedies or a dramas. Film and television serve a similar purpose: to feed mind, body and soul. Making narratives that matter is a priority. 
 
 Shanalyna has worked in film and television for 20 years. She's worked on the sets of Tyler Perry's House of Payne, The Walking Dead, The Sopranos and The Wire to name a few. In 2018, she was an assistant director on the Twentieth Century Fox feature films The Darkest Minds and The Hate U Give. After competing in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, she then produced Oh Jordan! An Autism Web Series base on the entry she submitted to the challenge. Shanalyna looks forward producing a second season of Oh Jordan! and is actively pursuing movies that matter. Read Less
