I was fortunate enough to start my career as part of the Creative Access trainee scheme where I worked across a whole realm of productions in Salford’s Media City within the BBC. I have formed a large base of contacts through working across many teams within the BBC as well as interning on different productions from Radio 2 to 6Music. My mentors and peers have helped curate an incredibly varied career so far, where these different productions have all required a variety of skillset- including the BAFTA winning show Cruising with Jane McDonald under lockdown restrictions and the highly popular RTS winning show Grayson's Art Club. I am a confident individual who is comfortable working independently, using my own initiative whilst also thriving in a team, adapting myself to compliment my teammates and making sure I am on hand to go beyond my role to make sure the task is completed to a high standard and efficiently. I flourish when working to deadlines and conduct myself in a professional and friendly manner in the working environment. My strongest attributes are my eagerness to learn, as well as my passion to be as creative as possible, seeing an idea all the way through to completion. My passion for TV and Film from a young age fuels my enthusiasm to make engaging and compelling content that has strong themes that I can identify with. I will throw myself into any task and continue to push myself, never shying away from advice or long days until I know I am doing my best and achieving the team’s overall goal. My time in media has given me a diverse skillset with experience in production, creative projects, location shoots and digital media.
