While attending USC, Jessica won a coveted Peter Stark Special Project grant to produce the short film HOPE’S CHOICE. HOPE’S CHOICE played at the 2005 Cannes International Film Festival and won several awards including a College Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The film played on Showtime and HBO/Cinemax Latin America. Additionally, Jessica produced the multiple award-winning feature film, SOMETHING IS KILLING TATE that garnered a dozen film festival awards as well a premiere on the Starz Network and an international distribution deal.While Jessica enjoys producing, she desires to utilize her creative muscles more often. So, she began writing screenplays. In 2018, one of her screenplays earned recognition as the 1st Runner Up in the 2018 Copper Mountain Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. Also in 2018, another one of her screenplays was selected as 1 of 22 projects from over 4100 submissions to be developed by Imagine Entertainment’s project accelerator program – Imagine Impact.Jessica’s career began as the Production Coordinator for Herzog & Company. However, quickly began working as a Production Manager/Line Producer for several of the company’s PSAs, television pilots, and DVD/EPK special shoots for clients including Universal Studios, Walt Disney Studios and Warner Brothers.In addition to her film projects, Jessica has written, produced and directed several short form documentaries and DVD special features for Warner Brothers titles including TROY: THE DIRECTOR’S CUT, FOOL’S GOLD, NIP TUCK SEASONS 4 & 5, WE ARE MARSHALL and THE CLOSER SEASON 3. She directed a brand-driven TV show episode on KNBC about the La Victoria brand as well as worked as the Creative Content Producer on Rice University's OpenStax College initiative concept trailers.
