I'm currently seeking Self-Shooting Researcher or Self-Shooting AP roles, primarily in Northern Ireland but available to relocate for the right position. 

I've been working within the TV industry for almost twenty years now. The bulk of my career has been within production management (although I do have credits as an AP and researcher). I am now seeking roles within an editorial team. I know this transition is often thought to be challenaging if not near impossible but I believe with hard work and determination nothing is impossible. Therefore, in the past couple of years I have been working hard to upskill in order to put my best foot forward for those positions. I've completed training as a self-shooting AP, achieved my drone operator and pilot licence (GVC) and completed further researcher training with Pam Relton. In the past year I've been hard at work completing my own filming projects whilst also working with the BBC Studios Natural History Unit who had enough confidence in my filming abilities, they sent me to Kenya to film behind-the-scenes on project Lion. This work included capturing actuality and interviews using a range of cameras and grip set-ups on the ground and in a helicopter. 

In 2025 I've also produced and filmed a twenty-minute documentary (Our Lagan), filmed second camera for Joshua Burnside's latest music video which has over 23k views on YouTube, completed a film package for Wild Belfast and Queens University Belfast about their bid to make Belfast a National Park City, and filmed a stylized music video for local musican Stevie Russell.
Each of the above involved researching, planning, filming, ingesting, editing, revisions and delivery.  

I'm educated to masters level (Creative Writing QUB) and have a NCTJ Journalism qualification (post grad) but my greatest skills are; production experience, attention to detail, communication, building relationships, multi-tasking, organisation, creativity, and now technical proficiency.
