Currently a Journalism (MA) and NCTJ Diploma student at the University of Brighton. This course has allowed me to gain experience in journalism, through academic and practical work. I have been able to develop my research and practical skills through various internships at film and TV production studios. I have also produced my own multi-media platform ‘@GirlzofVision’ which combines journalism, fashion and art and can be explored on www.girlzofvision.com. As well as building and managing the website, I also regularly publish feature articles on up-and-coming artists. These articles include feature stories with short documentaries, directed and edited by me. It is important for me to stay up to date with the latest trends within the fashion, art and music industries. This enables my platform to appeal to the target audience of young women creatives. I am also currently producing a short advert to promote gender-inclusive fashion advertising working with a trans social-media influencer Faye Dickinson, for my platform and website ‘Girlz of Vision’.
