With over ten years of experience in film and television, Charlie has grafted tirelessly to carve his own unique and successful career path that has led him to where he is today. Over a decade ago, Charlie’s love of film and photography was well-established via a healthy obsession with stop-motion animation. Making movies from still frames with realistic movement was what sparked life into his career. At the age of just sixteen, Charlie was headhunted by an internationally recognised media company after he was noticed providing basic, but effective one-to-one camera tuition online. Charlie began commuting daily to South London from his countryside home, working on and then supervising the production of magazine, news and light entertainment television shows, and it was here that he was able to flourish and begin to hone his craft.Now an internationally acclaimed Director of Photography, Charlie has worked on international production across five continents and for some of the biggest names in film and television such as Netflix, BBC, Amazon Video and MTV. One of his most recent projects saw him shoot a documentary following a swimmer across the English Channel. After many years supervising and leading teams, working both as a solo operator and part of larger crews, Charlie founded his own crewing and production company (TERRA TV ltd.) in 2018.In addition to these accolades, Charlie boasts a wealth of technical abilities.
