Research is something I deeply enjoy, having three university degrees including a foundation degree in TV production, has taught me how to do effective research both under time and resources strains.A career in research is something I have wanted to explore since I started on degree in TV production.
During my five years of high education I have learned to be very successful in my research when needing to find sources and information for different topics. I have learned to organise myself within my research and look for information in places that you might not think there will be.While doing a two-week work experience on the Cowboy Builders TV show for Ricochet production, I was put in charge of researching a builder. I managed to find some very important information about this builder, and I created a very well organised folder. This caught the eyes of the producer who congratulated me and requested that the rest of the research team produced a similar folder.I have excellent social and communication skills. These have been developed through working in customer services, but also from my university degrees and volunteering experience. My work experience has taught me to have good telephone manner and being able to approach people in a professional way. I have great organisation and time management skills; in past and current roles I have been praised for being able to work under pressure while keeping good organisational skills. I have also been praised for my motivation and initiative to go beyond and above expectation.I believe I have the skills you are looking for, but I also have the drive to excel in your production company as a researcher.
